First Indian International Cricket Stadium in Nathdwara

An international-level cricket stadium and sports center has been completed in Nathdwara, Rajsamand. The Miraj Group, a multi million business empire has finally come up with their dream project international-level cricket stadium (Madan Lal Paliwal Cricket Stadium) exclusively with a five star hotel and a high tech 3-D design mandap with a sitting capacity of 30,000 -35,000 spectators. In 2024, the Miraj group signed an MoU with SSPL (Siddharth Sports Private Ltd.) to be the center for coming IPL matches. Miraj Stadium is going to be the second largest stadium in Rajasthan after Sawai Man Singh Stadium Jaipur.
Potentially it is going to boost the economy of Nathdwara and will provide better infrastructure and tourism facilities to the tourists.
Location
Location wise this stadium is 50 kms far from Udaipur on the National Highway NH-8 (Delhi-Jaipur) in Nathdwara tehsil(ShreeNath ji),District-Rajsamand.Bus fare from Udaipur bus stand cost minimum direct to the stadium would be 100/- and if you are coming by flight then you have to take a taxi from the airport which would cost around 500- 800/-. By train nearest railway stations are Mavli junction (MVJ) and Udaipur junction (UDZ) but not all trains stop at Mavli junction. UDZ will be more convenient to stop at to reach Nathdwara.
Asian Legends League
Asian Legends League 2025 will be held from 10 March to 18 March at Nathdwara Miraj Stadium. India ,Sri Lanka ,Bangladesh ,Nepal, Qatar ,UAE or Afghanistan are going to play in this T-20 tournament and 15 matches will be held between these teams.
In this tournament former all rounder Irfan Pathan, the iconic player of the Indian Royals,
Thisara Parera will play for Sri Lanka Lionals, Asgar Afgan for Afghanistan Pathans ,Mohammad Asharful for Bangladesh Tigers, Abdul Shakur for Ashiay Stars.
Including Suresh Raina, Virendara Sehvag ,Yusuf Pathan will also be the part of this tournament along with some famous bollywood celebs in the opening ceremony of league tournament.
Apart from this other places to visit in Nathdwara are :
- “Statue of Belief” or “Vishwas Swaroopam” the tallest Shiva statue (369 ft.) and the fifth largest statue in the world.
- World Famous pushtimargiya second peeth “Shree Nath ji” temple. It has different time of eight darshan and every darshan has their own meaning.
